| Practice Manager Lorna C. Weir B.Sc.,DipPM. Our Practice Manager has responsibility for Personnel, Administration, Finance and Strategic Planning. She is our Practice Team Facilitator. Please ask at reception if you wish to speak to Lorna. Hygienists We have two Hygienist Surgeries in the Practice. Our Hygienists work under the direction of the Dentists, and work closely with our patients ensuring good oral health - especially with regard to prevention of gum disease and dietary advice. Prevention is better than cure. Dental Nurses Each Dentist and Hygienist has a Dental Nurse who is trained to National qualification standard, and assists during surgery procedures. Each Dental nurse has responsibility for the surgery in which she works and also deals with your appointment recalls and registration details. Dental Technician + Laboratory We have our own Dental Laboratory in the Practice. Our Dental Technician works under the direction of the Dentist and deals with your Dental Prosthetic requirements (Dentures etc.) Receptionists Our Reception staff will be your first point of contact at the surgery. They will deal with your appointments, payments and any queries you may have. |
